The Airdrie Minor Basketball Association (AMBA) Board of Directors wishes to announce a comprehensive and necessary review and updating of the association's bylaws.
Our current governing documents are outdated and do not fully comply with current Alberta non-profit regulations, leaving our organization exposed and inefficient.
Over the past year, the board, in consultation with legal counsel and a dedicated review committee, has drafted significant amendments to modernize our operations, membership categories, election procedures, and overall governance.
Due to the fundamental nature of these proposed changes, they must be approved by the general membership at a formal meeting prior to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) to avoid rushing discussion during the standard AGM agenda.

To present these changes, answer questions, and hold a vote for approval, the Board is convening a Board of Directors Special Meeting.
