2024-2025 Registration:

We are thrilled to announce that registration for our 2024-2025 season will open on September 1, 2024, for returning families in good standing and September 15, 2024, for families new to AMBA!

🏀 What is Jr NBA?

Jr NBA is an exciting program designed specifically for kids under 8 years old, introducing them to the fundamentals of basketball in a fun and supportive environment. With a focus on skill development, teamwork, and building confidence, Jr NBA is the perfect way for young athletes to start their basketball journey. Whether they’re learning to dribble, pass, or shoot, Jr NBA is all about fostering a love for the game! 🏀

Volunteer Requirements:

We do not have a volunteer requirement for parents in Jr. NBA. To bypass the volunteer prerequisite at registration, please click "Jr. NBA ByPass."

However, we require volunteer coaches and assistant coaches to run the program. If you want to volunteer as a coach or assistant coach, please click that you would like to volunteer. The system will take you to another window where you will pick either the coach or assistant coach option in the volunteer prerequisite section.

Vulnerable Sector Check for Volunteers:

All coaches must submit a valid Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC). If you need to complete a VSC, contact volunteer@airdriebasketball.ca to obtain a letter from AMBA outlining your status as a volunteer, which you will use to get your VSC. You must obtain your VSC as soon as possible so as not to delay the start of the season. VSCs are valid for two years. When assigned a team, you must upload a copy of your current VSC and sign in to RAMP as a coach.

Special Payment Options:

The registration system is set up to accept payment by credit card. However, you can e-transfer the registration payment within 24 hours of registration to treasurer@airdriebasketball.ca
