Notes:
Mini House teams are formed to be as even as possible skill-wise. Evaluations are used to determine player placement. Other than in the case of coach’s children, we will not accept requests to play on a specific coach’s team. In the case of siblings, we will make every attempt to place siblings together on the same team.
The fee includes a basketball and reversible jersey for practices, a dry-fit AMBA-branded shirt for games for each player.
*Players born in 2013 can try out for the U11 Division (which plays games with CMBA in Calgary)
Practices:
AMBA attempts to schedule practices (and games for Mini House) within Airdrie, however, based on gym availability, this is not always be feasible (Crossfield and Balzac are the out of town locations also used). Practice days are determined by coach and school availability and will change from season to season. Once practice days are determined, we attempt to keep practice nights consistent for each team from week to week. However, due to varying gym availabilities, there are some weeks where times and locations may differ, so it’s important to check the weekly practice schedule each week.
