Welcome to Airdrie Minor Basketball Association or AMBA, where kids grow through basketball!

We’re a volunteer-run nonprofit serving Airdrie families since the mid-1990s. With over 400 young athletes in three programs, we partner with schools and community groups to make basketball accessible, affordable, and fun for all skill levels.

At AMBA, we focus on skill-building, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a positive, inclusive environment. Our dedicated volunteer coaches, many of them parents, help players grow on and off the court.

Whether your child is new to the game or a returning player, they’ll find a place to learn, compete, and enjoy the sport. From practices to tournaments, we offer opportunities that foster confidence, friendship, and a love for the game.
