U11 Coach Mentors Required

The Coach Mentorship Program offered by CMBA intends to target youth basketball players at this critical age to optimize their outcomes in the future.

You do not need to have a child in U11 to be a Mentor in this program
Becoming a Coach Mentor would fulfill your AMBA volunteer requirements for the year
We encourage those interested in this role to have Basketball and / or Coaching experience or background
Training provided from CMBA
Mentors would then be required to work with AMBA's U11 Teams (approx. 4-5) throughout the season (attending 3 practice & 2 games per team)

The City of Airdrie Minor Basketball Association ("AMBA") is a volunteer-managed registered non-profit in Airdrie, Alberta. The AMBA was formed to provide youth from ages 6 to 17, coaches, and referees in the Airdrie area with safe, cost-effective team-based recreation and opportunities to develop their knowledge, skills, and abilities using our community basketball programs.

Our vision is to be "The Leader in Developing Community Youth Basketball".

Our organization was founded in the mid-1990s and currently has over 400 players across three different programs.

AMBA is a member of the Calgary Minor Basketball Association ("CMBA") and Volunteer Airdrie.

The AMBA uses QuestionPro for our annual Survey. Thanks to QuestionPro's offline mobile app, collecting offline data is a piece of cake now, especially when you don't have to deal with paperwork anymore..
